 Production blog: vinyl 

After a few hours we finished all the recording for the record store. After we finished recording for the records store, George, and Julianna hopped into face time to try to figure out what we had to do next.The only thing we had left was to record the scene at home and to edit. Julianna bought a beetles vinyl with this really cool cover. We had to decided on a song to use for our commercial. George wanted us to use yellow submarine. I personally did not like the song, it really annoyed me. The song is so bland and I felt like it did not go with the mood. We were original just going to stick to yellow submarine but the clip of the song we were gonna use was too long. So after that we had to go back to listening to the vinyl to figure out what song we were going to use. all the songs on the vinyl were pretty good and none of them were necessarily bad. except for yellow submarine (in my opinion). Eventually after listening to the full playlist I suggested we used the song “here there and everywhere”. Here there and everywhere was so much better than yellow submarine (in my opinion). It fit the mood so much better and it fit the 30 second time frame perfectly. So after some convincing, we settled on the song here , there and everywhere. After the song was decided Julianna started editing. We were on FaceTime so while Juliana was editing me and George were watching. Julianna started the editing process but hasn’t finished it yet. Juliana was using cap cut and the editing was looking good. We still have a few more things to do but progress has been made. We are very close to finishing.

Group blog

 For this group project, I will be working with the team I have been working with since the beginning of the year. We are all in the  same grade and have been friends since last year. I am working with George, Julianna, and Jean. I choose to work with this team again because they have good work ethnics. They are all very hard working people and I am glad to be working with them for this project. I am extremely excited to be able to share this experience with them. They all have their own unique traits, they’re motivated to do the best they can and complete work as fast as they can. They  are good at problem solvers and get along well with each other. I’ve known all of them for about a year or so. We are working together but are in different classes. Jean and I take media 2nd period and George and Juliana are in 5th period. This hasn’t been much of an obstacle at all though, except sometimes for communication. We always get our work done on time though.There has been a few times however

 For our music video, my group decided to do a song called “Just The Two of Us” by Grover Washington Jr. and Bill Withers. As this song falls under the R&B genre, the targeted audience, at least in the modern age, is African-Americans (due to the history of R&B with that community), as well as the younger people of the world, mostly adolescents to young adults. - R&B music videos typically attempt to catch the audience sense of attraction. - Older R&B music videos showed men as sophisticated and charming, wearing suits, which attracted to the female audience. - Modern R&B music videos show men as attractive and strong.
